New vulva fruit gums cause criticism

by time news

In a time when influencers are showing that with enough finesse and persistence you can really bring any product to buyers, Hollywood celebrities are also increasingly being drawn into the entrepreneurial sector. Rihanna sells makeup, Kate Hudson sportswear, Ryan Reynolds gin. Everything relatively normal. And then there are wellness and lifestyle labels like those of model Kate Moss or actress Gwyneth Paltrow. While the former caused a stir last year with the sale of “holy fragrance mist”, the latter focused primarily on the legendary female sexuality. For example, her company Goop already offered a scented candle that was supposed to smell like the Oscar winner’s vagina and a jade vaginal egg that was said to be health-promoting.

Reality star Kourtney Kardashian Barker has recently joined this curious series. With her “Lemme” line, founded in September last year, the oldest of the 5K Sisters from the Kardashian-Jenner family of entrepreneurs sells vitamin gums and herbal food supplements. Not an easy start, because it is particularly difficult to fool her billionaire sisters Kim Kardashian (“SKIMS”, “KKW”) and Kylie Jenner (“Kylie Cosmetics”). Something special was needed to attract the attention of consumers: the vaginal wellness wine gum “Lemme Purr” (Eng. “Let me purr”).

According to Kardashian, the gummy consists of pineapple extract, vitamin C and clinically studied probiotics. It is taken orally and is said to promote vaginal health, improve the pH of the vaginal flora and provide a fresh smell and taste. The yellow-orange drops are also vegan, gluten-free and gelatine-free. A can with 60 fruit gums costs the equivalent of just under 30 euros. The 43-year-old entrepreneur justified the idea for “Lemme Purr” by saying that “the vaginal microbiome is sensitive and can be easily disturbed”. The probiotic components of the wine gum should contribute to a balance of the vaginal flora. Probiotics are products that contain viable microorganisms such as lactic acid bacteria or yeast.

To mark the launch of her latest gummies, Kourtney Kardashian posted a video on her Instagram profile of herself putting a gummie in her mouth surrounded by cats. The clip was also published on the “Lemme” account. Underneath it reads, “Give your vagina the sweet treat it deserves (and make it a sweet treat).” Vaginal health is an important part of a woman’s overall well-being, but one that isn’t talked about enough. It also says, “You know what they say… you are what you eat.”

By the way, it is unknown whether Kourtney Kardashian was inspired by the myth that the taste of semen can also be changed when men drink a lot of pineapple juice when developing the product.
