A student who went swimming in the Kasurina sea in Karainagar has been swept away by a wave and has gone missing.
The search for the missing student at 3.30 pm today is being carried out by the Navy and local fishermen.
Lokeswaran (17 years old), a student from Konda, was swept away by the sea.
20 people from Konda went to Karainagar Kasurina Recreation Beach. The two were swept away by the wave while they were bathing. However, police said one was rescued and the other was swept away by the sea.
