jpnn.comJAKARTA – A number of events celebrating New Year’s Eve 2025 will be held in Jakarta and its surroundings on Tuesday (31/12).
For this reason, Polda Metro Jaya will deploy 1,500 personnel to secure the New Year’s Eve party.
“We involved 1,500 security personnel consisting of 900 Polda Metro Jaya people and 600 regional units,” said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Pol Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi, Monday (30/12).
According to him, there are 12 entertainment stage locations which are the focal point for guarding Polda Metro Jaya personnel.
Among others, around the Panin Bank Building (stage theme: Jakarta Berdendang), SCBD Area (Jakarta Dancing), FX Sudirman (Jakarta Indie), Hotel Orient (Jakarta Singing), Sudirman World Trade Center Building (Jakarta Singing).
Next, Wisma Nugra Santana (Jakarta Punk), Japanese Embassy (Jakarta Rock), Gedung Sari Pacific (Eletric Jakarta), Horse Statue Area (Jakarta Bergoyang), UOB Building (BUMN-BTN), Dukuh Atas Area- JXB River (BUMD- PAM Jaya) and Lapangan Banteng (Pesona Dekade).
Police Commissioner Ade Ary said the personnel would also be spread across the Senayan Roundabout Area, Semanggi Circle Area, HI Roundabout Area, Horse Statue Roundabout Area, Harmoni Area, Tourist Attraction Areas (Ancol and TMII).
“We ask the public to celebrate in an orderly manner and continue to comply with existing regulations. We must increase the spirit of tolerance and empathy at this moment,” he said.
