The press service of the Kostroma State Traffic Safety Inspectorate reports that 37 different accidents occurred on the roads of the region during the day on December 30, fortunately, mostly minor and without serious consequences.
The most serious of them took place on the Kostroma-Nerekhta road, at the 17th kilometer of which a certain driver lost control on a slippery road. As a result, his car skidded on the bend, it moved into the right ditch in the direction of travel and turned over.
As a result of an accident, a 21-year-old passenger of this car received bodily injuries, which, however, did not require hospitalization – he was prescribed outpatient treatment.
Upon the fact of the accident, the traffic police officers are checking.
