Sri Lanka will tour Pakistan in the middle of this month to play a five-match T20I series. New Zealand Cricket has announced a 15-member squad for this tour on Wednesday. New Zealand 9 star cricketers will not play in Pakistan tour due to IPL. That’s why all-rounder Michael Bracewell, who returned from injury after a long time, has been given the captaincy. The Kiwis will start preparing for the T20 World Cup under his leadership.
Bracewell last played a T20 match on 1 February 2023. After that, he did not play for the national team for the last 14 months due to injury. He finally returned from injury. And since there were no star cricketers, he also got the captain’s armband.
