Hardik Pandya will lead India’s Twenty20 team and Shikhar Dhawan will lead the ODI team for the tour of New Zealand. Rishabh Pant is the vice-captain of both the teams. Malayalam player Sanju V. did not get a chance in the Twenty20 World Cup team. Samson has featured in both teams. Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and K.L. Rahul was also given rest. Dinesh Karthik and Mohammad Shami lost their place in Twenty20 while young pacer Umran Malik returned. Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan, Shreyas Iyer, Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammad Siraj are also in the squad. The series starts on November 18.
