Auckland: The Indian team defeated Sri Lanka 3-0 in the T20 series and brought the hosts to their knees, but the tables turned in the ODI series. The first ODI was a tie, while Sri Lanka won the remaining two matches in a resounding manner and embarrassed the runner-up team of the 2023 ODI World Cup.
