പി ‘Worm’ directed by P.T. Ratina is a newcomer. Do you think twice when dating newcomers? Can women still approach Mammootty with a story?
Anyone can come. So far I have not put up a board saying that women have no access. Newcomer directors are also given the opportunity in the belief that they have something new to say. Most of what I starred in in the early days was in films by newcomer directors. She acted in ‘Puju’ because she felt it was new. The character in the film is of a negative nature. I have acted in such roles before. None of that has been rejected. The audience has faith in me and them in me. If the movie is good people will take over.

I never thought I would be hated by a negative character in a movie. If you are so scared, you can not act. Going to act like you’re good at everything would be like being a wax figure. There are no guiltless men. No one can be perfect. The negative characters in the film can be considered as an example to the audience.

I’m always trying to innovate myself. They always think about what can and cannot be done and what can be done more. He has innovated himself and has done many films before. If many of them go unnoticed, it is my misfortune.

The opinion of the acting character is not mine. It is enough to see the film only as a film. I’m not a fan of any kind of propaganda. People can find many positives and negatives in film. But nothing in the movie is my opinion.
Do negative characters have anything to do with Mammootty’s image?
I wanted to be a good actor. That is my only image. You can’t always be a hero or a superstar all the time. That will come and go from time to time. But the actor will always be the actor. What I have said, including in interviews years ago, is that I want to be a good actor. What was said back then was just that he was still trying to do it.
Do you rate old movies and new movies?
The movie was new all the time. It’s just that a new movie came out later than that.
