Kozhikode: A newlywed drowned during a photoshoot. The incident took place near Janakikkad tourist center near Kuttyadi. Rijil, a native of Katiyangad Paleri, died on the spot. The river was flooded during a post-wedding photoshoot. The bride was also swept away but rescued. They are currently being treated at a private hospital.
After seeing the flood, the two were rushed ashore by their companions and locals and rushed to a nearby private hospital. But the young man’s life could not be saved. The couple got married on March 14.
