/ The Newroz team was able to defeat its guest Al-Naft, and the Zakho team succeeded in defeating Al-Karkh, on Sunday, in the 11th round of the Iraqi Stars Football League.
The match between Newroz and Al-Naft took place at Sulaymaniyah Stadium at two-thirty in the afternoon and ended in favor of Newroz with a score of 3-1.
The first half ended with Newroz leading 2-1. Newroz scored first in the 29th minute through professional Ibrahim Gabbad Amosi, and Al-Naft was able to adjust the score through professional Okeke Oflabi in the 34th minute. Newroz added its second goal through player Sifan in the 41st minute.
In the second half, professional Ibrahim Gabbad Amosi scored his second and third personal goal for Nawroz in the 55th minute.
At the same time, Al-Karkh’s match with its guest, Zakho, began at Al-Kout Olympic Stadium.
