/ On Thursday, the Newroz team achieved a 3-2 victory over its guest, Amanat Baghdad, in the 21st round of the Iraqi Stars Football League.

The match took place at Sulaymaniyah Stadium at three o’clock in the afternoon.

The first half witnessed Newroz’s lead with two free goals, the first scored by professional Eviani in the 26th minute, and the second goal for Newroz came in the 30th minute through Claudio Oliveira.

In the second half, Amanat Baghdad scored the goal in the 47th minute through Ernest Thierry, Amanat Baghdad was able to adjust the score in the 59th minute through Florent Deidre, and in the 90th minute Newroz scored the goal in the lead through Ahmed Khaled.

The meeting was moderated by a refereeing team consisting of Ahmed Mohamed Askar as first referee, Yasser Hashem as first assistant, Ali Makki as second assistant, Mohamed Kamel as fourth referee, and Ahmed Kazem as “VAR” referee.
