The Ministry of Health has provided a set of tips to prevent dehydration, indicating that dehydration is the body losing more water than it takes in.

The Ministry indicated that the symptoms of dehydration are feeling thirsty and tired, passing dark yellow urine with a strong smell, in addition to dry mouth, lips and eyes, and urinating a little, indicating that its causes include fever, diarrhea, vomiting, excessive sweating, and excessive urination.

The Ministry of Health provided several tips to prevent dehydration, including drinking water when feeling any symptoms, eating water-rich foods such as fruits and vegetables, as well as maintaining a sufficient amount of water daily.

Dehydration can be avoided during the month of Ramadan, according to Web Medicine, by drinking 8-10 glasses of water in the period between breakfast and suhoor, making sure to eat soup daily, and avoiding spices, spices and citrus fruits, as well as reducing sweets after breakfast. Avoid caffeine, nicotine and smoking, avoid exposure to the sun, exercise shortly after breakfast, and drink milk during the Suhoor meal.
