The American company, Google, officially launched Passkeys technology for the latest final version of the Chrome browser, to solve security problems resulting from insufficient password technology that lacks the required level.
The company has long recognized these issues, and has introduced additional lines of defense such as two-step verification and Google Password Manager.
The new technology works on authentication without passwords, which prevents re-use and leakage of data that can be compromised, and also protects users from phishing attacks.
