The Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Preventive Health and Infectious Diseases Consultant, Abdullah Asiri, explained that the number of deaths among people with corona has increased to more than 60,000 deaths within one month.
Asiri attributed this significant increase in the number of Corona deaths in China to two main factors, which are the poor coverage of the elderly with vaccination, and the use of vaccines of limited effectiveness against the Omicron mutant and its subspecies.
China is currently witnessing a significant increase in the number of people infected with the Corona virus, despite following the “zero Covid” policy followed there since the beginning of the pandemic 3 years ago.
