Hundreds of thousands of Israeli children who grew up on the iconic series will be able to return to their childhood experience in the series’ new podcast. In a press release yesterday (Thursday), PBS KIDS announced that Arthur will be making his comeback on “The Arthur Podcast”

The first season of the podcast should contain eight episodes. The episodes were released weekly starting Thursday, October 20.

Production said the podcast will be based on content from the original show, based on Mark Brown’s best-selling books. The podcast is set to retell iconic episodes from the TV series in a new audio format.

The company said podcast listeners will hear their favorite characters, including Buster, Binky, Muffy, Francine and, of course, Arthur Reed himself, as they wander through school, home and the rest of their life’s adventures.

Sarah DeWitt, vice president at PBS KIDS, said the company is excited to announce its mission to “meet kids where they are” by expanding its podcast offerings with “Arthur’s Podcast”

“We hope that parents who grew up with ‘Arthur’ can now join their children in listening to new stories from the characters they love, having fun and learning together,” she said.

“The Arthur Podcast” will be available for free on the PBS KIDS video app, Arthur’s YouTube channel, pbskids.org, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music and other platforms that host podcasts.
