Three units of the fire service went to the spot after receiving the information. There is no toll on the elevated expressway while going. Also, we did not experience any delay related to toll payment.

Several officials who participated in extinguishing the private car fire on the elevated expressway said that three units from Kurmitola fire station left for the spot within 30 seconds of receiving the news of the fire. Fire service units reached the spot in no time.

Anwarul Islam Dolan, media cell officer of the fire service headquarters, said about the news of tolling, “We have learned from talking to the fire personnel who participated in the fire fighting that day that they did not have to pay any kind of toll.” The toll news is false.

Later, fire service personnel went to the spot and extinguished the fire. However, fire service vehicles are required to pay toll on the expressway like any other agency in normal traffic except for emergencies, which is normal.
