If anyone thinks cell phones and the cloud are the pinnacle of technology, I think artificial intelligence is the pinnacle of technology. And that is going to happen in the next two or three years. “The public is now in the same state of mind as they were in 2007-2008 when cell phones and the cloud were introduced,” he said.
India at number one:
Talking about India, he said, “India is number one globally when it comes to artificial intelligence projects. If so, then the next age in technology will be the ability of artificial intelligence. So we need to focus on India for the long term. Also, seeing 6-7 percent growth is normal for India. Although problems like inflation and recession challenge many countries, India is one of the exceptions. This is why Microsoft is so committed to India. It is also making more investments. The current question is what India is going to create next with all our technology,” said Satya Nadella.
