Qutb said during a press conference held today, Wednesday, at the King Hussein Business Park in Amman, that many benefits will accrue to the game system in Jordan as a result of this hosting, in which a group of elite players from the West Asia region participate.
In turn, the President of the West Asian Karate Federation, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Qannas, expressed his thanks to the Jordanian Federation for hosting the tournament, stressing the confidence of the West Asian Karate Federation in Jordan’s ability to organize a distinguished and wonderful tournament for this important tournament that will benefit the teams participating in it, especially since it constitutes a good preparation stage for the teams for official participation. upcoming continentally and globally.
The Jordan Karate Federation, in cooperation with the University of Petra, is hosting the West Asian Championship with the participation of 8 countries: Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the Emirates, Syria, Palestine, Yemen and Iraq, represented by more than 200 male and female players. Competitions will be held on the next Friday and Saturday in the university’s gym, and the tournament includes junior category competitions. And youth, adults and under 21 years old.
On the sidelines of the tournament, two Asian referees and coaches sessions will be held under the direct supervision of the AFC.
