A traffic officer who finished a shift noticed on Road 25, while driving home, a vehicle traveling in a dirt area, with a child sitting in the driver’s seat. The policeman stopped the vehicle, and then it turned out that the driver was an eight-year-old boy. Next to the boy, his father sat, and in the back seat sat his mother, sister and baby about two years old, without a safety seat.
The boy’s father – the owner of the vehicle, a 43-year-old resident of Segev Shalom, was detained for questioning, at the end of which he was released on a five-day house arrest, with a self-bail deposit. In addition, his vehicle was disabled for 30 days and towed. Upon completion of the investigation, the case will be transferred to the South Traffic Traffic Claims Unit.
