In 2016 when I competed with Cristiano Ronaldo for the Golden Boot they helped me win and I will always be grateful. For me, Messi is the best and Neymar is second. ‘El Pistolero’ continued to shed light on the Brazilian’s departure: “It hurt us a lot. In the pre-season in the United States when we talked about it he told us ‘no, no’. After that we realized that French football was growing, but at the time we told him that it was best to stay. His decision shook us because he was an important player and it was difficult to replace him.”
