NFL opener: Buffalo beat the Rams

by time news

Many are predicting greatness and sieges for Buffalo this year, and tonight (between Thursday and Friday) Josh Allen and the Bills proved that the expectation is not excessive, when they arrived in Los Angeles and inflicted a home defeat on the Rams – 10:31, after 10:10 in the half. On the offensive side, Josh Allen passed for 297 yards and three touchdowns while also being intercepted twice, and added 56 yards and a touchdown on the ground, with Stefon Diggs picking up one of the passes and 122 yards through the air.

On the defensive end, veteran Von Miller led a near-psychotic defense that sacked Matthew Stafford seven times. Miller was directly responsible for two of these miscarriages.

The Bills led 0:10, when Stafford found his favorite catcher Cooper Cup and then led a drive for a field goal – 10:10 at halftime. The second half was all about the visitors. Allen first found Isaiah McKenzie, then emerged for a touchdown himself and finally finished with a 53-yard pass to Diggs – 10:31 left. Stafford had 240 yards, a touchdown and three interceptions.

The cycle will continue on Sunday, with Minnesota hosting Green Bay and Dallas hosting Tom Brady and Tampa Bay.
