This house was built by him 18 years ago and has increased in price 10 times compared to the time of purchase.
Although he owns a spacious living space, he said he rarely stays here because most of his time is spent working. The male singer is also very liberal and comfortable when he is willing to let friends who want to find a place to rest, relax or practice yoga come to live temporarily.
“I can give them the keys to come enjoy this space. I personally don’t need too many amenities but value dedication to art, meeting audiences and discovering myself,” Nguyen Phi Hung once shared.

I believe that every art form informs the others, and having that dance foundation has enriched my storytelling on stage.

You’ve mentioned in previous interviews that you admire leading a quiet and private life. In an industry that often craves the spotlight, how do you manage to maintain that balance?
Nguyen Phi Hung:
It’s essential for my well-being. While I love performing and connecting with my audience, I also cherish my private moments. I find peace in solitude and enjoy spending time in my garden villa. I believe that being grounded allows me to bring authenticity to my performances, which ultimately resonates with my fans.

Speaking of your villa, it’s impressive that you’ve built such an amazing property in Cu Chi. It’s not just your personal space; you also share it with friends. Can you share more about your philosophy on space and community?
Nguyen Phi Hung:
Sure! My home is a haven, not just for me but for those I care about. I often tell my friends, “Why not use this space?” I think it’s essential to share what we have. It encourages creativity and supports one another. Whether someone needs a place to rest, practice yoga, or simply escape for a bit, I’m happy to provide that. It’s about building connections rather than just holding onto material possessions.

You’ve accomplished so much, including creating hit songs like “Dang Em” and “Lonely Love.” What drives your creativity at this stage in your career?
Nguyen Phi Hung:
My desire to explore and share human experiences keeps me motivated. Music is a deep reflection of our emotions and stories, and even after many years, I feel there’s so much more to discover. I strive to keep evolving; each song is a new journey, and every performance a fresh opportunity to connect with others.

At 50, you’re thriving as an artist and living independently. How do you feel about the common societal pressures regarding marriage and family at this age?
Nguyen Phi Hung:
I think it’s important to live authentically. For me, my passion for art and engagement with my audience takes precedence. Society often has expectations, but I believe everyone should follow their own path. I’m content focusing on my career and enjoying life on my terms.

What advice would you give to young artists who aspire to follow in your footsteps?
Nguyen Phi Hung:
Stay true to yourself! Embrace your individuality and don’t rush the process. Success doesn’t happen overnight. Cultivate your skills, connect with your audience, and most importantly, enjoy the art of it all. Passion and persistence are key.
