Nia Sanchez and Danny Booko have confirmed they are leaving the Bravo reality series The Valley after three seasons. The announcement, shared via a joint Instagram statement on Tuesday, September 1, comes as production for Season 4 ramps up.
In their statement, the couple expressed gratitude for the experience but stated that their current priority is protecting our peace and our family
. They added, We are fully committed to each other and our beautiful children
and noted they are looking forward to their next chapter.
Cast Friction and On-Screen Conflict
The departure follows a contentious third season marked by tension between the Bookos and several of their co-stars. According to reports, Bravo producers felt their relationship and dynamic with the cast was not as organic as that of other couples on the show.
Much of the friction centered on Danny Booko’s behavior. During the second and third seasons, Booko faced accusations of alcohol abuse and “unhinged” on-camera behavior. This included an off-camera incident between the first and second seasons where Booko touched castmate Jasmine Goode’s thigh and grabbed Melissa Carelli’s backside at a party. While the show addressed these events and Booko apologized to Goode for inappropriate behavior
, the conflict persisted. Janet Caperna later labeled Booko’s actions sexual assault

Further clashes occurred during Season 3, including a dispute with Lala Kent during a beauty pageant competition in San Diego. Kent expressed concern regarding how Booko treated Sanchez behind closed doors after witnessing him be gruff
with her in public. The season culminated in a heated argument at a Halloween party where Booko referred to Jason Caperna’s knee injury as a bum leg
, prompting Janet Caperna to throw a cup of liquid toward him. These disputes remained unresolved at the season’s reunion.
Family Dynamics and Parenting Pressures
Since joining the Vanderpump Rules spinoff in 2024, the couple documented the challenges of raising a growing family. Sanchez, a former Miss USA and pageant coach, joined the cast shortly after having twin daughters. The couple later welcomed a fourth child, daughter Adelaide, in June 2025.

Sanchez later told Bravo Insider in July 2026 that the couple had returned to therapy to rebuild healthier communication following the stress of filming. She described their marriage as being in a much better place
, framing their exit from the series as a family-centric decision rather than a separation.
This official exit follows a previous incident in June 2025, when the couple debunked a fabricated statement claiming they had quit the show. At that time, Booko labeled the rumor Fake!!
and Sanchez clarified they were simply focusing on their new home and baby.
