Mullingar’s own Niall Horan saw a significant boost in his company’s earnings, with pay at his firm Jaredon Ltd jumping 20% from €1.85 million to €2.23 million in the year ending March. This financial upswing follows a whirlwind global tour that captivated audiences from Belfast on February 20 to Bogota, Colombia, concluding on October 9.

The lucrative tour included a stop at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, a venue where one of his concerts was filmed.

Figures from music industry tracker Pollstar reveal that Horan’s shows generated €2.65 million at the box office from just three performances at Dublin’s 3Arena. While box office receipts are typically shared among artists, venues, promoters, and ticket sellers, the substantial sum underscores the tour’s financial success for the 31-year-old singer-songwriter.

Horan, who boasts 39.3 million followers across X and Instagram and is known for hits like Slow Hands and Nice to Meet Ya, has consistently appeared on Irish rich lists. His career trajectory began with his rise to fame in One Direction, launched in 2010 on the reality television show The X Factor.

The company Jaredon employs three staff members, including fellow directors and accountants Alan McEvoy and Barry Downes of Livewire Business Management. Their combined pay, along with directors’ emoluments for qualifying services totaling €30,000, amounted to €2.32 million last year. Meanwhile, the company’s cash reserves saw a sharp decrease, falling from €1.85 million to €106,944.

The substantial staff costs resulted in a modest net loss of €39,863 for Jaredon Ltd last year, with accumulated profits standing at €93,000 by the end of March.

Beyond his music ventures, Horan has diversified his investments, notably in the Irish athleisure brand Gym+Coffee. He also founded Modest! Golf Management, representing prominent golfers such as Ireland’s Leona Maguire and her sister Lisa Maguire, along with Ryder Cup player Tyrrell Hatton and rising stars like Connor Syme, Jack Singh Brar, Christiaan Bezuidenhout, and Guido Migliozzi.
