As a further sponsor, the Braunschweiger Land Foundation had already handed over 2500 euros in advance. For the sum, the club was able to buy a special art bike, which is necessary for the practice of the sport and which also meets the high demands in the performance level from the district and state squad. The exceptional bike and the achievements of the athletes were presented in a short but very impressive demonstration.
Isabel Schmidt, chairwoman and trainer of the RCE, also thanked on behalf of her team. Unfortunately, artistic cycling is a fringe sport that receives little attention from the general public, despite the top sporting performances of the athletes, she regretted.
The Radler Club then had more Easter surprises to give away: 59 of 111 hidden Easter stones were found during the “Easter stone campaign 2023”. The lucky finders were notified and were able to receive their non-cash prizes, which were sponsored by various business people from the Liebenburg/Salzgitter region. It was the second Easter stone campaign by the RCE activists. It was so well received by many searchers that a further edition should be organized in the coming year, Isabel Schmidt promised.
