Messages of condolence
Among the first messages of condolence to arrive was that of the MEP Susanna Ceccardi. « To Nicola – he writes -, it is difficult to tell you what I feel at the moment. He who finds a friend finds a treasure, a huge void remains when you lose him. I remember you as a volcano, with your exuberant way and love life to do things. You always had new ideas and projects, you were always in a boiling pot. You told me that you and I were both Northern League supporters and that’s why we got on so well. We organized many events together, had fun and did real activity. A brave lion, like that evening when the anarchists attacked the boys at the gazebo in Chatrú Rua, you never retreated. Your heart was big, maybe too big and in the end it couldn’t do it. You were always on the front line, your parties were always the most beautiful in the entire Tuscan League, you could really feel the desire to be together to share ideas and projects. You were a point of reference and I will never forget the effort you spent helping me in all the election campaigns I faced. You were the authentic image of the League I love, the one who knows how to be among people and is not afraid of anything or anyone.”
The provincial secretary of Noi Moderati also remembers him, Lorenzo Pascucci. «We had built a real, healthy and honest relationship, made up of laughter but also endless discussions. Fosdinovo’s election campaign gathered even more. What a pity Nicola. We spoke on Monday morning for a quick greeting and comparison; three words and I’ll talk to you later. Now, though, I’m here to say goodbye. My best memories, however, are the private ones, not the political ones, I don’t know how much as friends but certainly as two people who had learned to get along well, on the side same. Above all, I will always bring with me your sign as a true Lord, as you were and are: whoever rises in the Council Chamber, cross him and go and give two kisses full of affection on the cheeks of my wife, to pray pray for her. a few happy birthdays after our marriage, regardless of what the thoughts and situations look like.”
