Out of 28 categories, the “advocacy and defense of human rights” prize rewards a female figure who has implemented all kinds of innovations to ensure the development of her country and Africa as a whole.

Of the 11 candidates from African countries other than Nigeria (a total of 140 candidates), Moroccan Karima Rhanem, president of the International Center for Diplomacy, won this consecration, after receiving 2,672 votes.

This vote is a recognition of his efforts and commitment to serving the people, as well as his constant desire to improve the quality of life in society and create future opportunities for the next generation.

In Nigeria, Ms. Rhanem organized a major Youth Forum in 2018 while supporting several Nigerian organizations in the field of youth entrepreneurship.

In 2019, she was the only Moroccan to participate in the African Economic Congress held in Abuja. She also took part in other panels and meetings in Nigeria.

In terms of humanitarian work, she has volunteered for a large number of actions and initiatives.

The Iconic African Women Recognition Award is an initiative designed to celebrate women’s leadership, recognize and appreciate their significant contributions in various fields.

It is also an opportunity to recognize their achievements, highlight their unique perspectives and inspire future generations of women leaders.

These awards are specifically aimed at women in leadership positions and aim to recognize their exceptional work and dedication, while highlighting their achievements.

By highlighting their achievements, the Award also aims to inspire and motivate other women to aspire to leadership positions.
