The crew of Russian Eduard Nikolaev won the penultimate stage of the Dakar rally-marathon, which is taking place in Saudi Arabia.
On Thursday, the Dakar participants had to overcome the 11th stage, the length of the special stage of which was 346 km. In the standings of trucks, the pilots of the Russian Kamaz-master team were again unmatched, who took the first three places.
The best result was shown by the crew of Eduard Nikolaev, who covered the distance in 3 hours 54 minutes 45 seconds. The second place was taken by Andrey Karginov, 15 seconds behind, the third was the leader of the overall standings, Dmitry Sotnikov, who lost two minutes.
Before the final stage, Sotnikov is ahead of Nikolaev by 8 minutes and 18 seconds.
