The Eid al-Fitr in Kuwait gets nine consecutive days off, including weekends. The proposal was approved by the Civil Service Commission. Eid holidays are available from May 1 to 5.
The nine consecutive days of leave are added to the weekend holidays before and after the scheduled holiday of the Feast of Tabernacles. After the holidays, government services will be operational from May 8.
