Activists and relatives of the victims of the Narvarte case They protested in front of the bunker of the Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City (FGJCDMX) to demand justice nine years after the events.

In addition, the sister of photojournalist Rubén Espinoza accused Ulysses Lara -in charge of the capital’s Prosecutor’s Office- of not providing support to the victims’ families and of taking the case into account to resolve it with the arrest of the two people that the FGJCDMX itself confirmed would be involved and that work was being done on their arrest.

“I demand that this authority resolve the case because we have already had nine years of impunity, in which they have enough information to at least catch the two people who they have acknowledged are still free. We need the perpetrators, we need to know what happened in that building on July 31, 2015,” said Patricia.

Patricia Espinoza indicated that she removed a memorial for the victims of the past 28 of July because the previous one that was there was removed by residents of the Narvarte neighborhood.

Within 48 hours, the new memorial was also removed in what the families considered a sign of indifference towards the victims and their families.

Narvarte case nine years later
