The announcement of this museum’s Nintendo Direct surprised us some time ago, and now it has confirmed new information. The museum opened on October 2 of this year. Now, after learning that there are no plans to open more similar museums in other regions, along with the first images of merchandise, we have some curious restrictions:
- One day after its opening, Nintendo has implemented purchasing restrictions, limiting certain items to one per customer.
- The restricted items include:
- Collections of keychains from gaming hardware (1983-1999 and 2000-2017).
- Fénix Hanafuda and Hyakunin Isshu Fénix.
- Lanyard and pass holder.
- Super Mario cookie in the shape of a pipe.
- Classic controller cushions.
- Magnet collection.
- It is unclear if the restrictions will be lifted, but they will be in effect for several months at Nintendo Museum.
