Nintendo Switch, new rumors confirm the Pro version

by time news

In the last few hours we have returned to talk about Nintendo Switch Pro, the enhanced version of the hybrid console that has been awaited for a long time but on which hopes had been lost following the release of the OLED model last October. Well, according to some information stolen from Nvidia, Nintendo’s partner for the Switch hardware, it seems that a new model is actually in the works and with very specific features: maximum resolution of video games at 4K, support for ray tracing, laptop screen at 1080p with 60 frames per second maximum fluidity, CPU 8 core 1.27ghz, GPU 512 core Ampere 1100mhz, 8GB of RAM. Not only that: in the technical documentation in question there are references to drivers in Nvidia DLSS 2.2, proprietary technology based on artificial intelligence. There is still no confirmation from Nintendo of course, but it has recently asserted that the Switch is at the middle of its life cycle and that therefore it will be the flagship console of the Mario house for a few years. After two revisions of the original model released in 2017, therefore, Switch Pro could be the wild card to extend the life of the hugely popular console, which has just exceeded 100 million units sold.
