Nintendo to Offer Switch Bundle Featuring OLED Model and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
As the holiday season approaches, reports have surfaced about a new Nintendo Switch bundle that will be hitting the shelves. While it will once again include the popular game Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, this year’s package will reportedly feature the upgraded OLED model of the console.
The information comes from Dealabs, a reliable source that has provided accurate leaks in the past. According to their findings, the bundle will include a standard Switch OLED console in the neon red/neon blue color scheme. Unfortunately, it seems that there won’t be a special edition unit accompanying this bundle.
As for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, it is expected to be included as a download code, ensuring that players can get right into the action. Additionally, the bundle will come with a three-month Nintendo Switch online membership, allowing users to connect and play with friends online.
While pricing details have not been officially confirmed, retailer listings suggest that the bundle will fall within the range of €310 – €349 (or the equivalent in regional currencies). European consumers can look forward to getting their hands on this package in the second half of November, just in time for the holiday shopping rush.
Nintendo’s original Switch console has already sold more than 130 million units worldwide, and the introduction of the OLED model is expected to boost these sales even further. The Switch OLED boasts a vibrant 7-inch OLED display, a wide adjustable stand for improved comfort during gaming sessions, 64 GB of internal storage, enhanced audio quality, and a new dock that includes a wired LAN port for stable online connectivity.
