What we all feared a few days ago, today is confirmed: Nintendo will not attend E3 2023.
The news was given through an official statement in which Nintendo stated:
“We manage our participation in any event on a case-by-case basis and are always considering various ways to connect with our fans. And since this year’s E3 show didn’t fit our plans, we have decided not to participate«.
Even so, and in order not to break ties with the Entertainment Software Association, Nintendo made it clear that they have always supported and will continue to support ESA and E3.
With this, Nintendo —just like sony— is officially out of E3 2023, an event that hopes to make its great return at the hands of Reed popthe producer of the New York Comic Con and the Star Wars Celebration event.
Xbox has yet to confirm or deny its participation in E3but it has been reported that the software giant is already planning activities parallel to the show and, with just three months to go before the event, the brand will almost certainly not join the showfloor this year.
