**Nintendo Releases New Update for F-Zero 99 on Switch**

Nintendo has officially released its latest patch for F-Zero 99 on the Switch, bringing the game up to Version 1.1.0. The update includes the highly-anticipated new “Classic Race” mode, Lucky Ranks gameplay, new backdrops, and various other adjustments and fixes.

The new Classic mode features 20-player races with rules inspired by the original F-Zero on the Super NES. This mode will be held periodically as a special event. Additionally, Lucky Ranks gameplay has been added, allowing players to record their rank and the machine they used across five races. Matching ranks and machines at the end of the five races will unlock extra in-game rewards.

Players can also look forward to customizing Pilot Cards with new backdrops, badges, and borders. Meeting specific conditions will unlock these customization options.

Other adjustments and changes include making it easier to return to the main menu after crashing out or getting ranked out during races, as well as adjusting the difficulty for initial startup training and matching new players together for a better gaming experience.

The update follows Nintendo’s announcement in October regarding the King League and the “final new tracks” for F-Zero 99. The company has also promised to continue making small updates to enhance the overall gaming experience.

Fans can expect even more updates and improvements in the future. The full patch notes for the F-Zero 99 update have been shared on the official support page.
