by time news

O Nissan Versa was made in the United States in 2007 and has been assembled in the Aguascalientes plant in Mexico since 2006. Redesigned for the 2020 model year, the Nissan Versa 2023 continues to offer an exceptional level of refinement with new design and technology and safety features not typically found in the segment.

The 2023 Nissan Versa increases its appeal this year with refreshed exterior styling and additional features, adding even more value to the popular sedan.

Visual enhancements for the 2023 Nissan Versa include a new front fascia with an updated version of the brand’s instantly recognizable V-grille. New Nissan branding logos inside and out, a new 17-inch alloy wheel design for the Versa SR and a striking new Sky Gray Pearl paint color.

styles and options

The 2023 Nissan Versa comes in S, SV and SR models. The OS is the most basic with 15-inch wheels, but the SV gets a decent amount of standard equipment. Including 16-inch alloy wheels, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, satellite radio and voice control.

OS is available in five colors: Shiny Silver, Cool Powder, Electric Blue, Super Black and Metallic.

Engine and Torque

It has a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 122 horsepower and 114 torque. A five-speed manual transmission is standard on the S, although a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) is optional. CVT is standard on SV and SR models.

Security

Safety features are part of why Nissan says its goal with the Versa isn’t to be America’s cheapest car, but to provide the best value and safety for the money.

It comes standard with four of the six “Safety Shield 360” features, Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, High Beam Assist, Automatic Rear Braking and Lane Departure Warning.

Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert are available on higher trim levels.

The small four-cylinder engine doesn’t look very powerful, but it’s nimble. It accelerates quite well and responds smoothly on the roads.

The engines combined with the automatic CVT work under strong acceleration, but the interior of this Versa has become significantly quieter. Because the automatic CVT does a better job of simulating gear changes.
