Cachar Superintendent of Police (SP) Numal Mahatta told media persons that the police’s cyber surveillance cell had brought the matter to his notice.

SP Mehta said, ‘When I reached the institute, I came to know that the student who posted this is an alumnus of the institute and now lives in Bangladesh. I have requested the institute officials to raise this matter with the appropriate authorities, so that immediate action can be taken against the student who made objectionable comments against India.’
