Patna: 1.87 lakh employed teachers who passed the competency test in Bihar are going to get great news soon. Along with posting in schools, these employed teachers will get the status of state employees, after which the employed teachers will also be able to get the benefit of all government facilities like BPSC pass teachers. At present, the work of entry through software is being done by the Education Department for the posting of planned schools. Whereas preparations are being made for the posting of teachers employed in the month of June.
Counseling of teachers who passed competency test in June
Counseling of employed teachers who have passed the competency test will now be possible only in June. Only after counselling, these teachers will be posted in the school of their allotted district. It has been told that currently the matter of counseling has been stopped due to the code of conduct applicable for the Lok Sabha elections.
Permission was sought from the Election Commission for counselling.
According to sources, the Education Department had sought permission from the Election Commission for counselling, but the Commission has just cited the code of conduct. Due to which education officials have said that the code of conduct will end after the election results, after which counseling will be done.
Subject wise vacancy sought from all districts
The Education Department has also asked for subject wise vacancy in all the districts for posting the teachers employed in the schools of the allotted district. The list of schools in the cities and rural areas of the state will run phase wise till April 22.
