NL: Distinguished citizens are recognized in Escobedo

The 420th anniversary of the founding of General Escobedo was celebrated with the delivery of the prizeCaptain José de Treviño” to distinguished citizens.

José Antonio Quiroga Chapa, in charge of the office of the municipal presidency of Escobedo, Nuevo León, gave the medals to people who have stood out for their professional and human performance, as well as for their work for the benefit of the community.

Among those awarded is the teacher Yolanda Marín Montes, for her 49 years of teaching; Rocío García Cardoso, for the classes she teaches on Mexican folklore; Salvador Ochoa Quevedo, in the area of ​​humanism for six decades of community work; and Julio Domínguez Rodríguez, for his 100 medals in sports events.

“The recognition given to them today is an example of the work they have carried out for the benefit of their communities and on behalf of the Government of Escobedo I congratulate them,” he expressed.
