No Alternative to the Wheat Deal – Gudrun Harrer: Analysis & Comments

Multiple military experience shows that partial agreements between two warring parties are very often violated again immediately after conclusion. This does not have to lead to their immediate collapse. But the Russian statement made with the rocket attack on the port of Odessa that the war against Ukraine will not be slowed down by the “wheat deal” hits the mark. On the one hand there is the physical damage, on the other hand there is a slap in the face to the intermediaries – and even more so to the people who are so urgently waiting for this wheat.
