DECRYPTION – In view of the upcoming bans or restrictions on use, several hundred uses find themselves in a technical impasse.

If manufacturers, farmers, cooperatives or public authorities have been working for years to find practices and products to replace synthetic molecules, the principle of reality resurfaces regularly.

The best-known example is that of glyphosate, which Emmanuel Macron wanted to release by 2020-2021. In the absence of viable solutions for several agricultural uses (soil conservation agriculture, viticulture on sloping soils, etc.), the executive had returned to its objective. With a promise: « No ban without solution. »
