No compromise on governor’s security: Chief Stalin-Dinamani

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin told the assembly that the government would not compromise on the governor’s security.

“The Leader of the Opposition and the Leader of the BJP addressed the main issue using the lack of time. When the government is asked a question using no time, it is customary to walk out only after giving a proper answer.

The Additional Director of Law and Order Police yesterday issued a clear statement on the steps taken to protest the governor’s visit.

In it, he explained that there was no truth in the allegation that stones and flags were thrown at the governor’s security vehicles during the demonstration.

Similarly, the Governor’s security officer has written to the Tamil Nadu Police Chief saying that stones and flags were not thrown at the Governor and his security vehicles.

Appropriate cases have been registered against the protesters and legal action is being taken. Security has been ensured by deploying 2 DIGs, 6 SPs, 6 additional SPs, 21 DSPs, 52 inspectors, 102 assistant inspectors and 1,120 guards under the leadership of the Central Zonal Police Chief for the security of the Governor.

The protesters were blocked by protests and the police had to control. Despite the democratic struggle, steps have been taken. The government will not compromise on the governor’s security.

Gathered safely without a speck of dust falling on the governor. Cases have been registered against the protesters and an investigation is underway.
