It has been confirmed today (Wednesday) that 72 new people in Tamil Nadu have been diagnosed with coronavirus.
The State Department of Public Welfare has released data on the impact of corona on Tamil Nadu. The total number of cases has risen to 34,52,145 since 72 new cases were confirmed.

A further 161 people have recovered from the infection and returned home. A total of 34,13,248 have recovered so far. No deaths due to the disease have been reported in Tamil Nadu.
As of today, the number of people receiving treatment for the infection is 873.
