(Web Desk) Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi confirmed that there is currently no decision regarding the captaincy of Babar Azam.
According to the details, Chairman PCB held a long meeting with former and current cricketers in a private hotel in Lahore.
During the meeting, the former cricketers made recommendations to improve the performance of the national cricket team, while the fitness of the players and the disappointing performance in the T20 World Cup were also discussed.
During the meeting, it was agreed to improve the infrastructure of domestic cricket, it was also agreed to hold 4-day matches and U-19 tournaments, while former cricketers suggested to hold cricket tournaments in winter season as well as summer season.
Former cricketers made recommendations to Chairman PCB regarding the establishment of cricket academies in Peshawar and other cities.
Former cricketers expressed reservations over the quality of Pakistani coaches and members of the selection committee, apart from the quality of Pakistani pitches.
Later, in an informal chat with reporters, Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi clarified that no decision has been taken yet regarding Babar Azam’s captaincy.

He said that in the meeting there was a discussion with the players regarding the domestic cricketers, the cricketers have advised not to compromise on fitness and to improve domestic cricket.
