Jeddah: Saudi Arabia will not increase the price of food in school canteens. Ministry of Education Under Secretary Dr. Nasser Al Shalan informed about this. He also clarified that the price of food distributed in school canteens will be maintained as per the current market value without any increase in price.

A percentage of the revenue of school canteens is earmarked in the form of free meals for students with financial needs. He added that many other initiatives are in place for students with financial needs.
