Former India captain MSK Prasad has said that Mohammad Siraj should replace Ishant Sharma in the squad for the South Africa Test series.

The Indian cricket team has traveled to South Africa to take part in a three-Test series with South Africa.

The first match of the first Test series is scheduled to start on the 26th. Overall cricket fans are eagerly awaiting the series between India and South Africa as it will not be an easy task to bring down the South African team on its own soil.

Fans are eagerly waiting to see how the Indian team will face South Africa without senior players like Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja as well. Like the fans, many of the ex-players who have been waiting for this series with great anticipation are openly expressing their views and predictions about this series.

In this context, MSK Prasad, the former selector of the Indian team who has been talking various things about the Test series between India and South Africa, has said that Mohammad Siraj should be included in the bowlers’ list instead of Ishant Sharma.

Commenting on this, Prasad said, “If the Indian team decides to field with five bowlers, then of course Shardul Tagore will be the best choice. Taking Shardul Tagore will give the Indian team extra strength in both as bowling and batting. There is no doubt that Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj, Mohammad Shami and Aswin will definitely get a place in the playing XI, but it would be better to have Shardul Tagore if he decides to field with an extra bowler. Similarly, Mohammad Siraj should be given more importance than Ishant Sharma. ”
