After all, who wouldn’t get bored doing the same job 365 days a year? If it’s a boring job, it’s not only boring but sometimes even crazy. But this little robot in Japan is turning out to be a solution to a handful of similar problems. TX SCARA, a baby robot developed by a company called Telexistance, is now the star of family marts in Japan.

Developed by a Tokyo-based company called Telexistance, the TX SCARA is a little baby to look at but no compromises on performance. There is no other person who can see and see everything accurately. Such an experiment was conducted in Japan when the labor shortage in family marts worsened.

TX SCARA has an artificial intelligence (AI) named GORDON that knows when, where and which products to stock the shelves. And it has two mechanical arms. Once it knows what needs to be done, it uses a mechanical arm to accurately place items on the shelves. Knowing which items sell best and stocking the shelves accordingly

The machine is mostly used in ‘konbini’ or Japanese family stores. Inside these stores, under Gordon’s direction, it takes bottles, cans, etc. and places them on refrigerated shelves. Telexistence claims that the TX SCARA can process up to 1,000 bottles and cans per day.

However, its price is still not revealed. These robots are built for stores that do not change on a daily basis. Of the 16,000 Familymart outlets in Japan, the machine is in use at 300.
