Islami Bank Foundation Chairman Prof. Dr. Kazi Shahidul Alam said, from now on no more tests will be sent abroad.

He said this while speaking as the chief guest at an exchange meeting organized by Islami Bank Foundation at a hotel in Chittagong on Thursday (July 4). This exchange meeting was organized with the doctors and consultants of different hospitals of Chittagong with the aim of highlighting and familiarizing the modern service standards of the two new institutions Islami Bank Hospital and Cardiac Center Mirpur and Islami Bank Central Laboratory.

Professor Dr. Kazi Shahidul Alam said, ‘Islami Bank Central Laboratory is a state-of-the-art lab where all types of tests can be done. The lab will serve as a referral lab for all doctors in the country, which is a milestone for the medical services in the country. From now on, no more tests will have to be sent abroad.’

In the speech of the special guest Dr. Tanveer Ahmad said, Islami Bank Hospital and Cardiac Center of Mirpur is a hospital consisting of modern machinery, skilled doctors and technicians, where common people can get high quality cardiac and general medical services at low cost.

He also said that Islami Bank Debit, Khidmah Credit Card and Selfin customers will get special discount.

As a special guest in the event – Vice Chairman of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC and Chairman of the Executive Committee of Islami Bank Foundation Dr. Tanveer Ahmed and Islami Bank Managing Director Muhammad Munirul Mawla. Islami Bank Foundation’s Executive Director (Acting) Mohammad Ali gave a welcome speech on the occasion – Foundation’s GM and Head of Operations Wing Md. Abul Kalam Apart from this, the meeting was attended by renowned doctors and eminent persons of various departments.
