The Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) called before the World Cup to be held in Qatar not to involve football in politics, reported the British Sky Sports TV channel, publishing the letter of FIFA President Gianni Infantino and Secretary General of the organization Fatma Samura addressed to the participants of the championship.

The leaders of FIFA also called to respect the diversity in the world and to remember that no people, nation or culture is “better” than another.
It should be noted that earlier the Executive Committee of the Football Association of Ukraine appealed to FIFA, offering to consider the issue of banning the Iranian team from participating in the World Cup in Qatar, arguing that “human rights are regularly violated” in Iran, also not excluding “Iran’s possible participation” in special military operations in Ukraine. to the action.
