Jose Rodriguez parted ways with Maccabi Haifa. The Spanish midfielder issued a farewell letter to the Greens today (Friday) after two successful years, when last season he won the championship, the Toto Cup and the Champions League, but did not extend his contract at the club from Carmel.
“It’s time to say goodbye. I have no words to describe all the support I received from the fans. I have never been so happy anywhere and felt so loved by so many people as in those two years. I leave the club very sadly. But with the pride that I achieved the goal and I am part of a legend in this club, “he wrote Rodriguez.
“I came to a club that had not been at its peak in Israel for years, a team under construction, no one believed in us when we arrived. We came under the command of a leader who is without a doubt the greatest coach in the history of Israel.
